We can't overstate the impact that the spread of Coronavirus has had on our modern lives. And while the pandemic has affected weddings and baby showers, they've pushed party hostesses to be more creative than ever in planning events that are safe, but still festive. This six-person baby shower for pregnant blogger Tatum Aleksey is a perfect example.
In Tatum's words:
"The plan to have a big joint baby shower & the home shower had to be canceled thanks to COVID. But, a few of my closest friends, who I met through being a small biz owner, asked if I’d be okay with getting together for a little outdoor catch up before the baby comes and they surprised me with this beautiful set up. I told them it was like a work office shower since they are the closest thing I have to coworkers. It was pure joy this day!"
"It was such a fun Flamingo/tropical themed shower with light bites, a “Momosa Bar,” fun games and just some good girl time. They spoiled me with the sweetest gifts for our baby girl and we laughed and caught up with each other after months of not getting to see each other."
"Balloon garlands, handmade earring party favors, non-alcoholic Ready to Pop champagne and it was just the perfect day. We were outside as it was my doctors recommendation that if I am going to socialize leading up to our delivery that we do so outside. The weather was perfect and the only time we got within 6 feet was to snap a few pictures and for me to quickly give my girls a hug!"
